For fifty-four years, taking pictures of trains has been an important part of my life. I will be sharing some here, past and present, without any particular program as to when or where they were taken.
The blog title refers to the 56.5 inches between the rails of standard gauge tracks here and (as 1435 mm) worldwide -- not to preclude subjects having other gauges.
